 Triple DES is an increased level of encryption security for your ATM that better protects all consumers. 

This is a MANDATORY upgrade from MasterCard/Visa Networks. 

Triple DES is also the standard for all new ATMs and compliance is required by December 2006. 

 

The December 2006 deadline for Triple DES compliance on all ATM’s is fast approaching.   

 

Any ATM not upgraded by December 2006 will no longer be able to process transactions across the network.
